Rediscovering my passion

After taking a few years hiatus on blogging I have decided to return to it as it was a great creative outlet for myself and I truly enjoyed sharing my adventures teaching French Immersion in the maritimes. I love being creative and trying new things when I teach and I often find myself with colleagues who wish I would share the things I have tried or the materials I have created.

A little about myself. I am a perfectionist and I strive to always give my 110% in everything I do. I rarely take shortcuts and love to try new things. These last few years I have been teaching grade three French Immersion and it was a wonderful experience. I got to try new things, meet new people, fall in love with my students and their families. This coming year I will be undergoing some changes. I have been assigned to a new school and new grade level. I am so excited to begin this new chapter in my life and I am ready to start getting creative all over again. It’s almost like I got too comfortable and stopped sharing my passion.

In addition to being a French Immersion teacher, I have a wonderful family that has been nothing but supportive in all my endeavors. My husband is my rock and best friend. I have two kids, a boy and a girl, as well as a super lovable Boston Terrier named Mable. In the last few years, I picked up running and completed a couple half-marathons. My passion for gardening and plants seem to have no boundaries and I am a foodie enthusiast. I love all kinds of music and enjoy making a fool of myself in public. Laughing has always been my best medicine. I look forward to writing about all the projects I will have on the go this summer as I revamp everything I do in teaching. Hopefully you can find something useful for your own classroom somewhere on here and share it with others. Let the new adventure begin!
